The Forever Edit
A refined WordPress website and connected client journey designed to make the business easy to discover, simple to manage and ready to grow.
The opportunity
The Forever Edit supports people at joyful beginnings and meaningful farewells. The website needs to respect both experiences, while still feeling like one clear, personal brand.
Our approach keeps the public experience elegant and uncluttered, then uses thoughtful automation behind the scenes to reduce bookings, reminders, payments and invoicing administration.
The agreed direction
The prototype establishes a warm, considered visual language: soft natural tones, generous space, expressive typography and two distinct service pathways.

Photography note All imagery shown in the prototype is indicative only. The finished website will use Mackenzie's professional photography and supplied event images — never AI-generated images.
Website foundations
A complete, manageable foundation with the essentials set up properly from the beginning, avoiding manual workarounds as the business grows.
A calm, easy-to-navigate WordPress site that gives weddings and farewells equal space without making the experience feel divided.
Home, Weddings, Farewells, About, Journal and Contact — with thoughtful pathways for people at very different moments in life.
A user-friendly WordPress backend so Mackenzie can add articles, checklists and updates without needing a developer each time.
Contact forms, social links and clear enquiry pathways, with the structure ready for bookings, deposits and future expansion.
A Journal designed for useful articles and client guidance, giving the business a practical foundation for ongoing SEO.
Photography supplied by Mackenzie will replace every prototype placeholder. No AI-generated imagery will be used in the finished website.
Connected client journey
The connected systems can be delivered with the website or added later. The website will be structured now so future additions do not require starting again.
Multiple appointment and event types
Automated email and SMS communication
Secure online deposits and payments
Connected invoicing and bookkeeping
Post-event follow-up and testimonials

We organise the supplied photography, core copy, service details and social links.
We build the agreed WordPress pages, responsive layouts, Journal and enquiry pathways.
We configure bookings, reminders, Stripe payments and Xero integration when included.
Mackenzie reviews the website, we complete agreed refinements, test the experience and launch.
The timeline is indicative and depends on timely feedback, final photography and access to WordPress, Stripe, Xero and booking-system accounts.
